BURNING SUNS - The conquest of a galaxy

I find this to be very well-done. From the beautiful colors to the excellent execution, I can very well see this being part of a world of its own. The crumbling piece in the sky intrigues me, and whatever planet or moon that the soldier is staring up at suggests that it is indeed, quite literally, it's own world. Few pieces have had such an impact on me imaginatively, but this one has succeeded in both providing a vision of a world and creating an impact on me as a viewer. This, accompanied with such skilled technique has most certainly earned this piece a spot in my favorites. Very well done.
